We are delighted to welcome Grace Lovelass, an operatic mezzo-soprano, touring performer and inspiring public speaker, as our guest speaker for the Friends of Canford Spring Lunch.

Grace’s career is anything but ordinary. Equally at home on the opera stage, in comedy theatres and on the IRONMAN triathlon circuit, she brings a rare blend of glamour, grit and laugh-out-loud storytelling to everything she does.

She has performed leading roles with opera companies across the UK and Europe, collaborated with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and is the creator of the acclaimed show Ballgowns & Bib Shorts, the musical memoir of an opera-singing triathlete, which tours nationally in 2026.

A former PR manager who reinvented her life to follow her passion for music, Grace is a warm, witty and captivating speaker. Her talks are filled with humour, honesty and heart, exploring resilience, reinvention, performance, and what it really takes to chase big dreams, both on stage and in life.

A three-time IRONMAN finisher and Dorset local, Grace promises an entertaining and uplifting talk that will leave you smiling, inspired and thoroughly glad you came.

A delicious buffet lunch will be served at 12:15, with Grace beginning her talk at 13:15. The event will conclude at around 14:00 in time for the Easter break.
