On Wednesday 1st July, around 100 members of the Canford community gathered for our annual Henley Royal Regatta Lunch Reception at Henley Cricket Club, enjoying a wonderful afternoon overlooking one of the most iconic sporting events of the summer!

Although Canford did not have a crew competing at this year's Regatta, it was fantastic to see the Canford spirit out in force. Current pupils and parents, Old Canfordians, former parents, former staff and members of the wider Canford community came together to celebrate our shared passion for rowing and reconnect with friends old and new.

The day provided the perfect opportunity to soak up the unique atmosphere of Henley Royal Regatta before making our way to the riverbank to cheer on several Old Canfordians representing their university crews and rowing clubs. Seeing so many familiar faces competing on such a prestigious stage made for a proud occasion and highlighted the lasting connection between Canford and the rowing world.

Guests also enjoyed an outstanding lunch, with our Catering Team providing a superb spread that received countless compliments throughout the afternoon.
