Congratulations to Old Canfordian Martha Taylor W20 on her selection for the England squad for the FIH Hockey World Cup Belgium & Netherlands 2026...

The tournament, which runs from 15th - 30th August, will see the world's best teams compete for hockey's biggest prize, with both the men's and women's competitions taking place across the Netherlands and Belgium.

England's women begin their campaign against South Africa on Sunday 16th August at Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, before taking on China on 18th August and India on 20th August. The tournament then progresses into the knockout stages, with the world's leading hockey nations battling it out for the World Cup title.

Martha's selection is a fantastic achievement and reflects her continued dedication and success at the highest level of the game. She joins a talented England squad that combines experienced internationals with exciting emerging players as they look to make their mark on the world stage.
