Old Canfordians |
Five years on from their final days at Canford, the Class of 2019 recently gathered in Clapham for a fantastic reunion, thanks to the efforts of OC Matilda Hubble D19. With around 60 former pupils in attendance, the evening was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and plenty of catching up.
Reflecting on the event, Matilda shared:
"Over five years have passed since the Canford gates closed on our school days, so I thought it was the perfect time to bring old friends back together and reminisce. After a bit of detective work and some help from the Development Office at Canford, I managed to round up around 60 of us for a reunion in Clapham to celebrate our five year anniversary and what a night it was! It was such a joy to catch up with those I hadn’t seen in years, as well as reconnect with familiar faces. Some people had changed so much I barely recognized them amazing what five years can do! Hearing everyone's stories and seeing where life has taken them was truly special, and with so many of us now based in London, I have no doubt this will be the first of many more get togethers."
Events like these highlight the lasting friendships formed at Canford and the importance of staying connected. If you're feeling nostalgic and want to reconnect with fellow Canfordians, be sure to sign up to Canford Global Connect, your gateway to networking, reunions, and lifelong friendships.
