OC Frederick Bowater SH24 recently visited to share his extraordinary solo cycling journey from Northern France all the way to Singapore with our 6th Form Global Connections pupils.
He reflected on the highs and lows of travelling alone, why he chose this adventure for his gap year, and the invaluable lessons he learned about different cultures and languages.
Our pupils left feeling inspired and full of ideas about what’s possible when you step outside your comfort zone.
You can see videos and photographs from Frederick’s completed journey on his Instagram: @frederick_cycles.
