It was a real pleasure to welcome back the Class of 2006 for their 20 year reunion lunch on Saturday. The atmosphere was full of laughter and excitement as OCs reconnected over drinks, sharing stories and reminiscing about their time at Canford.

Guests travelled from across the country, and even further afield, to be part of the occasion, making for a wonderfully international gathering. The lively chatter in Long Gallery set the tone for a fantastic afternoon of catching up with old friends.

Adding to the nostalgia, a familiar face, and still currently teaching at Canford, DT teacher Phil Effick popped in to say hello, much to the delight of the group and Joe Lyons also spent time chatting to OCs in her role as Hon Secretary for the Old Canfordian Society.

Following a delicious lunch, the group enjoyed a tour of the school led by former History teacher, Keith Hay. It was a wonderful opportunity to revisit familiar places, see how Canford has evolved over the years, and explore the latest additions, sparking plenty of conversation along the way.

There was a real buzz throughout the afternoon as friendships were celebrated and memories fondly shared. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We look forward to welcoming the Class of 1986 and 1996 for their upcoming reunions.
